As per the shot to the left but with a little more feeling!!
I have felt the drums since i was a boy. Always tapping tables and other household implements. However i didn't start to play the drums until i was 23.
Since i've started playing i've had much fun, much emotion and even more fulfillment. I feel that the drums can be used as a musical instrument without having highly developed manuscript reading skills. I do believe that the best way of starting to play drums is to learn the rudiments and time keeping. However my experience has opened my eyes to the fact that sometimes not keeping perfect time and playing the unobvious can benefit a piece of music as much as a carefully considered passage.
I am also a Drumsense Drum Tutor providing teaching in accordance with a nationally recogised and accredited drum tuition programme. Please click here for details DRUMSENSE.
With that blasphemous thought i will leave you. However please investigate the links on this site as there are some extraordinary music and people. Oh yeah and i've provided a link to my limited history.
Oh yeah encore, I play hand percussion with Henry Marten's Ghost. including Cajon, Djembe and Darabuka.
